Fujifilm S100FS: budget alternative of SLR cameras
Fuji released new cameras - next week they will be presented at the exhibition PMA-2008 in Las Vegas. The most interesting model is FinePix S100FS which was officially positioned as an alternative of SLR cameras.

Fujifilm S100FS is equipped with 2/3″ CCD-matrix (”Super CCD”) with resolution of 11 Megapixels. New camera has 14.3x “manual” zoom and a Film Simulation function.

Photographs will be able to not only in JPEG, but also in RAW format. Possible shooting series (up to 50 pictures with a resolution of 3 Mp and speed of 7 frames / sec). Video - with a VGA-resolution (640х480) and at speed of 30 frames per second.

FinePix S100FS is equipped with 25 MB of internal memory, which can be expanded with xD-Picture memory card (up to 2 GB) or SD/SDHC cards (maximum capacity ifSDHC cards at the moment - 32 GB). Lithium-ion battery NP-140 provides power of the camera.
