German company AgfaPhoto has presented at PMA-2008 a new camcorder DV-5000G with 5-megapixel sensor. Camera can hardly be attributed to the hi-end or even the middle class.

The device supports only 8x digital zoom, has an Electronic Image Stabilization. DV-5000G can make video at a speed of 30 frames/sec at D1 or VGA formats.

The camcorder is equipped with 64 MB of memory, in addition, there is a slot for SD/SDHC cards. Not specified what the maximum capacity cards supported, but in general, for a maximum HDHC for today is 32 gigabytes.

Interestingly, the camera has 20 pre-video games, including classics such like tetris. All you need is to turn the 3″ display in the proper position and take control buttons on the sidebar. AgfaPhoto DV-5000G will cost $259.95. Tentative time of appearance in sales - 2009.
