Canon iVIS FS10: affordable camcorder with a flash memory can accommodate 9 DVD

Canon announced new camcorder iVIS FS10, which is able to to record video using only flash modules: integrated or removable. This system allows uninterrupted video recording almost in any conditions - flash memory is considered to be safer and faster than HDD and optical disks.

There are 8 gigabytes of memory and a slot for SDHC cards. If you buy SDHC card at 32 GB total capacity can be increased up to 40 gigabytes, which can be compared with a capacity of nine DVD.

Other features: 48x zoom “Advanced”, 1.07-Mp CCD matrix and a 2.7″ widescreen LCD. According to the manufacturer, the battery works for 5 hours. Above all, the camera will appear in the Japanese market. Home sales scheduled for April this year.
