Today the European division of Nikon announced the release of COOLPIX P80 camera - the new model of COOLPIX P series. New camera with a resolution of 10-MP has lens NIKKOR with 18x zoom, and a wide range of focused distances and application of image stabilization in order to obtain clear images with good sharpness.

Intended for active amateur photographers, the camera is the most compact in its class and the shell-zoom lens with a range of wide-angle shooting (equivalent to 27-486 mm in 35 - mm film camera). P80 offers an opportunity of exposition hand controls (shutter speed and diaphragm) and has high sensitivity - up to ISO 6400 for use in a poor light. Extremely powerful zoom lens can do, focusing on objects at a distance of 1 cm and vibration suppression system prevents flicker matrix, compensating for shaking up of the camera.

Camera is equipped with an electronic viewfinder that allows the frame to perform precise layout changes on the entire range of focal length, and also has a large 2.7 - inch monitor with antiglare coating and a wide viewing angle.

Apart from the highest productivity through a combination of zoom-lens with a wide range of focused distances, features image stabilization and high resolution, COOLPIX P80 represents technology that achieve the best results in certain shooting conditions. Try the latest technology from Nikon for shooting an individual and group portraits: Auto-function with a priority persons D-Lighting function and the function of suppressing effect of “red-eye”, raising the possibility of complementary sensitivity in a poor light.

The camera has built-in 52 MB of memory and is compatible with support of SDHC cards, allowing the preservation of thousands of photos on a single memory card.
