PENTAX Imaging Company released its new model of compact digital camera PENTAX Optio W60, which has a 10-MP photosensor, wide (28 mm) lens with a 5x zoom, compact size, light weight and full protection against water infiltration.

Manufacturer notes that the protection of the camera allows the owner of PENTAX Optio W60 kept the camera under water at a depth of 4 meters to within 2x hours, as well as in extreme conditions in temperatures well below freezing water.
Among other features of the model, is the possibility to shoot HD video (720p), the availability of high sensitivity (ISO 6400) and LCD with wide viewing angle (170 degrees) and anti-coated.
