Sony issued a new model of compact Full HD camcorders: HDR-TG5V. Recording video with this model is exclusively on a Memory Stick or a built-in memory (16 GB).

The manufacturer notes that the HDR-TG5V is very light (230 gr.) This is the most compact camera in the world which can make Full HD video (1920×1080i).
