Pentax has introduced a new medium format digital SLR camera with interchangeable optics - Pentax 645D. The model is equipped with CCD-sensor output Kodak with about 40 million effective pixels. It measures 44 x 33 mm, which is approximately 1.7 times greater than that of analog 35-mm format. To achieve maximum detail, the design of CCD-sensor contains no smoothing filters.

Panasonic introduced yet another new camera with interchangeable lens micro 4 / 3 of the Lumix G Micro System - model DMC-G10. The new model DMC-G10 is a “sister” of the Camera DMC-G2 with touch controls. In contrast to the DMC-G2, display does not swivel.
